What a great year we had in 2017. We saw 9 new chapters commissioned including our second chapter in Cuba and already have 2 scheduled for the first quarter of 2018. Between Sturgis, Daytona, Fayetteville, and Panama City Beach we witnessed to 7946 people one on one and saw 824 of them make a decision for Christ that will forever change their lives and eternal destiny. This does not in any way capture the entire one on one conversation that you as F.A.I.T.H. Riders have done individually or through chapter events that you held (trying to figure out a better way of capturing that statistic). We were blessed by having 30 chapters/churches support the ministry financially along with many individuals who participated in a Buddy Ride, 10-10 challenge, or silent auctions or simply gave from their hearts.  God truly provided just as the need came.  I will be sending out financial statements to all chapter directors in the next few days.
As we begin this New Year, I would encourage you all to make this the year that you experience an incredible break through in your personal prayer life.  1 PET 3:12 reminds us that the Lord's ear is attentive to your prayer.  He truly does hear you.  Of all the resolutions you could make for a New Year, I believe this is one that will radically change your life.
You might consider these steps:
Get alone with the bible
Get on your knees
Pray out loud
Pray with a list of specific things
Pray in Faith.
Also ask yourself that if God answered all your prayers, would anyone be impacted besides you? Often times our prayers are about us.  Let's see AMAZING this things this year.
The New Year can often bring a mixed bag of emotions and memories for many of us. Some may have just experienced the best year ever and look forward to an even greater one looming ahead. Others may have just trudged through one deep struggle after another. The fresh calendar year brings desperate hope for things to be better, with an ache for the still-fresh wounds to slowly begin their process of healing.

Whether you've just walked through the greatest year of your life, or are incredibly glad to see this one finally over, one truth still rings clear amidst it all. You are not alone. Not ever.
Our God is a "with us" God. On the heels of the celebration of the birth of our King, that reminder has the power to carry us right into a fresh, new start. He is Immanuel, God with us. And though things and people around us shift and change, our God never changes.

A Prayer to Keep God First this New Year:
Dear God,
Thank you that you make all things new. Thank you for all that you've allowed into our lives this past year, the good along with the hard things, which have reminded us how much we need you and rely on your presence filling us every single day.
We pray for your Spirit to lead us each step of this New Year. We ask that you will guide our decisions and turn our hearts to deeply desire you above all else. We ask that you will open doors needing to be opened and close the ones needing to be shut tight. We ask that you would help us release our grip on the things to which you've said "no," "not yet," or "wait." We ask for help to pursue you first, above every dream and desire you've put within our hearts.
We ask for your wisdom, for your strength and power to be constantly present within us. We pray you would make us strong and courageous for the road ahead. Give us ability beyond what we feel able, let your gifts flow freely through us, so that you would be honored by our lives, and others would be drawn to you.

We pray that you'd keep us far from the snares and traps of temptations. That you would whisper in our ear when we need to run, and whisper in our heart when we need to stand our ground.
We pray for your protection over our families and friends. We ask for your hand to cover us and keep us distanced from the evil intent of the enemy; that you would be a barrier to surround us, that we'd be safe in your hands. We pray that you would give us discernment and insight beyond our years, to understand your will, hear your voice, and know your ways.

We ask that you would keep our footsteps firm, on solid ground, helping us to be consistent and faithful. Give us supernatural endurance to stay the course, not swerving to the right or to the left, or being too easily distracted by other things that would seek to call us away from a close walk with you.
Forgive us for the times we have worked so hard to be self-sufficient, forgetting our need for you, living independent of your spirit. Forgive us for letting fear and worry control our minds, and for allowing pride and selfishness wreak havoc over our lives. Forgive us for not following your ways and for living distant from your presence.

We confess our need for you...fresh...new...again. We ask that you make all things new, in our hearts, in our minds, in our lives, for this coming year. We pray for your refreshing over us.
Keep your words of truth planted firm within us, help us to keep focused on what is pure and right, give us the power to be obedient to your word. And when the enemy reminds us where we have been, hissing his lies and attacks our way, we trust that your voice speaks louder and stronger, as you remind us we are safe with you and your purposes and plans will not fail. We ask that you will be our defense and rear guard, keeping our way clear, removing the obstacles, and covering the pitfalls. Lord, lead us on your level ground.

We ask that you would provide for our needs, we ask for your grace and favor. We pray for your blessings to cover us, we pray that you would help us to prosper and make every plan that you have birthed in our heart to succeed. We pray that others would take notice of your goodness and could not help but to say, "These are the ones that the Lord has blessed."
Help us to be known as great givers, help us to be generous and kind, help us to look to the needs of others and not be consumed by only our own.

May we be lovers of truth, may the fruits of your spirit be evident in our lives - your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Shine your light in us, through us, over us. May we make a difference in this world, for your glory and purposes. Set you way before us. May all your plans succeed. We may reflect your peace and hope to a world that so desperately needs your presence and healing.
To you be glory and honor, in this New Year, and forever.
In Jesus' name, Amen (borrowed from Debbie McDaniel)

Greetings fellow F.A.I.T.H. Riders.
The Christmas season is in full swing and many of you are very busy with things and I wanted to drop you a quick note and let you know of some things that are going on over the next couple of months so that you could put them on your calendar for 2018.

January kicks of with the Alabama State Rally which will be held at Lake Point  Resort in Eufaula AL, January 26-28.
During our Alabama FAITH Rider State Rally each chapter is encouraged to take advantage of a team building course at Cottonton Baptist Camp. The course will provide each chapter with significant spiritual application that will help them as individual Christians as well as how to be a better team in advancing God's kingdom. The course will include a visual example of the difference of believing in Jesus and surrendering your life to Jesus.
The course also includes group discussions on what challenges each chapter faces.
How to keep Jesus up front so evangelism doesn't fade
How to help your local church
How to help support surrounding chapters
How to raise the bar of leadership to help us have stronger teams
please visit their website at http://www.alapark.com/lakepoint-state-park
Contact Phillip Cook at faithriderphillip@gmail.com if you are interested in going.  This is open to everyone.
In March we have Daytona Bike Week.  As you know we have had a presence there for the past 7 years and this year is no different.  You can register now at http://daytonabikegiveaway.com to reserve your shift and day that you would like to volunteer.  We are only going to have one booth this year (at the Race Track) so shifts are filling up quickly.  If you register and try to select a day/shift that does not appear as an option, it is because it is already full.  Dates are March 9-17.  Prices are the same as last year ($50.00 registration. $50.00 housing, and $50.00 meals)  Shirts are $10.00
For the month of May we are excited to announce that we will have a booth at Myrtle Beach Bike Week.  Housing will be available at Living Water Baptist Church.  Dates are May 11-20.  Further details will be announced soon concerning registration.
In June we will have a rumble across the south leaving from Jacksonville FL heading to Dallas TX  We will be attending the SBC convention in the Dallas convention center and have a large vendor booth where will be distributing information about F.A.I.T.H. Riders to attendees.  We are looking for volunteers to serve along side us to help greet visitors, be runners for the convention and assist in any way the leadership of the SBC may need.  The plan is to start a ride that will allow us to pick up riders along the way at various locations, in various states, for the trip into Dallas. (you don't have to leave from Jacksonville) We will leave Jacksonville on Wednesday the 6th of June and arrive in Dallas on Friday night, set up our booth on Saturday the 9th, have Sunday the 10th off for free time and volunteer at the convention on Monday through Wednesday (11th-13th) and then return home. If you would like to be a part of all or any of this let me know.  There is a very good chance we will detour to San Antonio are on the way back to visit Sutherland Spring TX to do a special project for that church and chapter that tragically lost 5 F.A.I.T.H. Riders in the recent church shooting.

Keep doing what you are doing.  Diane and I love and appreciate you all.

Happy Thanksgiving

11/21/17

Greetings fellow F.A.I.T.H. Riders from Mike & Diane Stewart (National Director)

Diane and I wanted to take a few minutes and wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving.  Without question we all have so very many things to pause and give thanks for.  We have seen our ministry grow, fantastic results at Daytona, Sturgis, Bikes ,Blues and BBQ, Thunder on the Beach and so many other places. Many of you have been very generous in giving and 23 churches have as well.
Our Board of Directors met in Atlanta and set a path for our way forward and we selected a new Assistant National Director (Pastor Benny Reynolds) and Brian Wilson (KY), TJ Juckette (FL), Pat Ashley (VA), and Phillip Cook  (AL) were all installed as State Directors.
We had an absolutely awesome National Rally in September that we won't soon forget and were able to visit a Veterans Home, a Women's shelter and a Children's Home.
As I reflect on this past year, I am truly humbled by the servants heart and attitudes that you all displayed.  You have collectively made this ministry God honoring.
As we look forward to 2018, we start the year off with a bang at Daytona Bike Week March 9-17 and registrations are well underway (54 volunteers as of today 21 November).  To make sure you get the shift and day you want, I recommend registering early.  Go to http://daytonabikegiveaway.com
If you are traveling this week, please be extra careful.  We need you.  I pray you feel the Lord's presence and blessings.

Keep doing what you are doing.  Diane and I love and appreciate you all.

Greetings fellow F.A.I.T.H. Riders.

We have just completed an INCREDIBLE National Rally. For those of you that made it, thank you. For those that missed it I hope you will plan on coming next year over Labor Day weekend. This year we had unbelievable music, speakers and fellowship. We were able to visit a Veterans home, a children's home and a safe house for women. Everyone who went seemed to be glowing when they got back.

I announced at the rally that Pastor Benny Reynolds is now the Assistant National Director. I know you will make him welcome and support him 100%.

We discussed at the rally the possibility of F.A.I.T.H. Riders having a huge presence at the 2018 SBC Convention in Dallas TX. The dates are June 11-13 with us setting up our display booth on Saturday the 9th or Friday the 8th. I am working out the logistics for us to travel and lodging. We will serve as pages, security, greeters and anything else the leadership needs done. It is a chance for us to demonstrate our servants heart and make F.A.I.T.H. Riders very visible to 5-6 thousand attendees.

My plan is for us to have a huge ride to get there. We can gather folks at various spots along Interstate 10 heading to Dallas. First stop might be I-10 and I-75 junction to pick up folks from Georgia and central Florida, we would then go to Florida/Alabama line and pick up other riders and keep that up all along the way. Can you imagine 50-60 F.AI.T.H. Riders riding in formation along I-10 heading to Dallas. What an awesome sight that would be. We will arrange stops along the way for hotels and food. Lots of logistics to work out but wanted to let you know about it. Will probably start the procession of bikes on Tuesday 5 June. You can obviously come and be a part of this without being a part of the monster ride. Many details to work out but wanted to let everyone know about it. We will also plan on a huge group ride to a church on Sunday in the Dallas area.

The work on the Daytona registration website is underway and should be fully ready no later than 1 October. 2018 may be our last year to stay at FBC Daytona as the church has been sold. We are committed to staying and eating there again in 2018. I am already looking at other possibilities for 2019 (assuming the Lord doesn't come back before that).

We have a great video that explains who we are. It is time to make a new one. Plan is for you all to send me pictures and videos that you have of F.AI.T.H. Riders in action. Whether it is a group ride, ministering somewhere, chapter events, or anything that highlights what we do.
