A letter from the Director:

First and foremost, thank you very much for registering to come to the 3rd Annual National Rally. It is going to be an absolutely incredible time.

Saturday morning we have the great opportunity to go and minister to some folks who are less fortunate than us. There will be three different venues.

#1 is the Veterans Home. If you plan on this trip, it is about 30 minutes away and is home where many proud veterans live. Many never get visitors. If this is the venue you plan on going to, there will be an organized ride leaving at 8:00 AM on Saturday. They would love to have you bring underwear, white socks, or board games although this is certainly not a requirement. The ride will return in time for the 11:30 AM BBQ by the lake.

#2 Is an organized ride to the Alabama Children’s home in Oxford Al which is also about 25-30 minutes away. It will also leave at 8:00 AM. These kids need lots of loving and someone to show that they care. The plan is to arrive, eat doughnuts and love on the kids and let them ooh and awe over the bikes and generally hang out with you. A quote from Amber the center director is “we always need new duffle bags, pjs, socks, underwear, toiletry items.” There are boys and girls there. There may be a small service job to do as well as they are doing some construction on the premises and can always use a little help, even if it is for an hour or two. The trip back will leave in time to have you attend the BBQ by the lake at 11:30.

#3 is a LADIES ONLY trip to Well House. This is a shelter for young ladies that have been rescued from human trafficking. We have arranged to have two 15 passenger vans ready to leave Shocco at 8:00 AM. They have requested specific books to help the young ladies and we have purchased them and are ready for you all to deliver them on Saturday morning. You are certainly not required to go in the vans but it will be easier if your spouse is going to one of the other venues and you are together on one vehicle. Also this trip will get you back in time for the BBQ by the lake at 11:30.

I hope you will pray about these outreach opportunities and participate. I list the needs for #1 and #2 in case you want to purchase something and bring it with you to give away on Saturday. No requirement for you to do so but consider it a love gift.
Please wear something with F.A.I.T.H. Rider logo on it so everyone will know who we are.

God bless you and I look forward to seeing you all there.

**There have been some inquiries about the rally due to forecast of rain. Rally is still on and going to happen. I encourage you to come by car if concerned at all about safe riding. Please join me in praying for this weekend. We have great speakers and music lined up and they are expecting to see a full house. Sadly the date for refunds is passed and we have guaranteed Shocco a certain number of attendee and have to pay for not meeting the contractural number if we don't so we can not afford that and refunds as well I pray you still come. Weather forecast is rain on Friday, less On Saturday and even less on Sunday. Be safe traveling and please pray for everyone traveling as well

The Second Annual F.A.I.T.H. Riders South Fulton Sock Drive  was a huge success!

Bikers from all over Southeast Georgia flocked to Duncan Park on August 19, 2017 for the second annual South Fulton F.A.I.T.H. Rider's Sock Drive. Donations came in quickly and several large tubs were filled to benefit the homeless of Coweta County and surrounding areas. This worthwhile event continues to grow and hopefully, it will continue for many more years to come!

Filled to overflowing!

Sturgis Bike Giveaway

September 4-13
Sturgis, SD

As we enter another year of ministry at the rally, over 27,000 presentations of the gospel have been shared and over 6,100 people have prayed to receive Christ as their Savior. Over 1,500 volunteers have been trained to share their testimony evangelistically. Sturgisbikegiveaway.com has become a model for big event evangelism across the country. Other bike rallies and churches have used the three minute testimony model and have seen great results. We are grateful for partnerships which have provided finances and volunteers for this ministry each year. We invite you to come and bring others to be a part of this great opportunity to lead others to Jesus Christ. The Sturgis Bike Giveaway Registration for 2017 is now closed but if you need to register, please contact Bob at the following email address:  bob@sturgisbikegiveaway.com.

Please note that as last year, neither transportation nor parking were be provided.

Bikes, Blues & BBQ

Bikes, Blues & BBQ
September 20-23
Fayetteville, Arkansas

The most important thing to the people who put on Bikes, Blues, and BBQ is the funding of local charities.  Over the years, Bikes Blues and BBQ has made direct donations in excess of $800,000 to local charities and has generated a similar number in various partnerships with our local charities for a total of over 1.3 million dollars.  That charitable aspect, along with boosting the local economy to the tune of an economic impact of somewhere between 69 and 80 million dollars, is what the rally is truly all about.  Well, that and throwing one of the best parties in the country. FAITH Riders will have a setup similar to Daytona or Sturgis, contact Jeff Hairston for more info.

Barber Vintage Festival

October 6-8
Birmingham, Alabama

In October we have yet another fantastic opportunity for outreach.  In Leeds Alabama, October 6-8 there is a HUGE motorcycle event taking place.  It is the 2017 Barbers Vintage Festival and Swap Meet.  F.A.I.T.H. Riders have been invited to participate and set up a booth to witness.  We will also be functioning as servants helping with security, parking, directions, greeters etc.  The museum has over 1400 vintage motorcycles and will have 750 on display plus a HUGE swap meet with many different vendors in attendance.  Last year over 100,000 people attended.

Charles Burleson is our point of contact and can be reached at asecrtdieseldoc@windstream.net
